About this artwork

I’m an avid gardener, bushwalker and camper, and the Australian bush is close to my heart. It’s a part of my everyday life. There’s really no surprise it frequents my art.

The layered effect of leaves gives this artwork a sense of depth, and although the colours I’ve used are not truly representative of the Australian gum tree, it’s not hard to imagine lying on one’s back under a great old tree.
