Wooli river at high tide, The Pelicans congregate around the fish cleaning table when the fishing boats arrive and wait for the fisherman to throw scraps.
The wooli river is one of the least polluted rivers on the east coast of Australia. It is situated in the coastal heath country and drains the eastern side of the coast range.It runs through state forests and Yuraygir National Park, and flows into the Solitary Islands Marine Park.
