The Flourishing Garden
About this artwork
The Flourishing Garden - original art by Eve Sellars
Everything is growing in my garden right now, and I must find the time to get out there and prune some of my trees, lest they take over my yard. It's always such a busy time of year; tomatoes are starting to blush, apples developing their crunch, and cherries begging to be eaten. The trees in my garden seem to grow a foot every week - bottle brush and eucalyptus, gardenia and lilly pilly, all perfect playgrounds for frolicking birds.
This painting portrays leaves with soft smooshy smudgy edges and bright colour; pink, red, granny smith green, and deep purple, set against pale pink and blue.
It is an original one-of-a-kind artwork using high quality professional standard materials.

. . . ABOUT THE ARTIST
Having enjoyed a lifetime of creativity and expression, it’s no surprise Eve’s paintings are proving so popular with collectors, with over 140 original artworks sold in the last two years. Eve captures the essence of everyday gardens in our local neighbourhoods and parks, making her art relatable and unpretentious. She interprets her subject with sensitivity and love, and prefers the viewer “feel” rather than “see”.
Eve leads an unconventional life in her off-grid home in central Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden and orchard, and spends most days at the easel.
