About this artwork

Inspired in part by a memory of somewhere in Scotland, River Watch is an ethereal landscape. I nearly always include an animal in my work - they are slightly ambiguous animals .. dog like, but possibly something else. It's my way of paying homage to them, a reminder that we share our beautiful planet with many other species. Animals have been such a big and important part of my life, I like to honour them in my work.

This is a large, slightly surreal landscape painting, on stretched canvas. It has white gesso edges (Im always willing to change the colour if asked), d rings and hanging wire.
