We of the Never
About this artwork
This painting is partly named after a book called We of the Never Never 1908 by Jeanie Gunnn which was an significant story about Australian landscape and heroic men and women who lived in out of the way places.
Inspired by the colours of the countryside comes a sophisticated collection of abstract landscapes using rich deep greens, earthy browns and warm ochre’s, with a splash of blue to symbolise our rivers, dams and blue sky’s. Using a birds eye view point and a textured canvas, connections are made between colours and lines.
Deep earthy colours of high pigment acrylic paint on a square canvas, framed in a light coloured raw wood floating frame. Framed size 95x95cm.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
