

Gregory Matthews is a proud Tasmanian Aboriginal Man; his Language Group is Peerapper, and his Totem is The Sea Eagle. Greg is a descendant; and a recognised Elder of Tasmania’s Manegin People from the North West Nation.
Greg has developed his own unique contemporary aboriginal art style, his art is displayed in Melbourne & Hobart galleries, and in commercial premises in both Sydney & Melbourne. Greg’s art has been sold Australia wide & internationally. Greg has achieved local recognition and has won Awards for his art. Greg’s studio is located in Cranbourne North, Victoria
Greg loves his art, and to tell his stories, and apart from selling his art to collectors; Greg’s main aim is to advance Australian Aboriginal Art, culture and awareness.
All paintings and prints thereof are produced by Greg Matthews; they are original; and are supplied with a signed Certificate that incorporates both a statutory declaration of Greg’s Aboriginal heritage, and a Certificate of Authenticity for the purchased painting and/or print.
