‘Photographer Nadia Culph is immensely skilful at manipulating and controlling light. Her close-up still lifes are inspired by all of “nature’s curiosities and wonders”. Keeping her composition simple, Nadia creates stunning images that aim to bring the minuscule details of nature’s blooms to the fore. As they say, the devil is in the detail!’ – Freddy Grant.
Successfully selling my art on various online galleries and platforms from 2016 from my tiny home studio in Melbourne, my prints have made their way to homes and businesses throughout Australia and internationally, from the United States to Italy and many exotic stops in-between.
A still life photographer, I create unique & original artworks from nature’s curiosities & wonders. You’ll find everything from Australian native flowers to seasonal botanicals, Spring seedpods, tropical leaves and feathers prints. I’m intrigued by unusual patterns, intricate detail, beautiful design & striking colour. I’m fascinated by contrasts, whether it’s light and shadow or opposing hues. Keeping the image uncomplicated draws the viewer’s eye to the subject to focus on those stunning natural elements.
With a background in the technical side of photo-lab operation and a life long love of nature & the arts, I aim to show you the small details, to bring to light the beauty and complexity surrounding us.
The devil is in the detail.
