Linda Gleeson

Linda is a self taught intuitive painter. She is inspired by the memories and images collected in her mind from her travels. Capturing the colour, form and texture of Australian landscapes and seascapes through her application of acrylics. Linda applies countless layers of paint to her works revealing glimpses of what lies beneath. This technique creates depth and interest in her work and rich texture that can only be appreciated in real life. Her landscapes and seascapes are sometimes abstract and sometimes verging on abstract giving the viewer a hint of the subject. Linda is exclusively a palette knife painter.
