How it works
Artists upload images of their artworks and add details to their listing. When someone buys an item, the seller is responsible for packing and shipping the artwork. Before the artist posts the item, the seller will need to pay for the item. For security reasons, Stripe (our payment processor) will hold the funds until the seller agrees the item has been received. This ensures neither the seller or buyer is at risk of not getting paid or not receiving the artwork.
Shipping and returns
Artelier offers free shipping and returns for a period of up to 30 days. The seller assumes all responsibility for shipping and return costs. It is also up to the seller to ensure items are packaged properly and safely. We also recommend sellers to ship with postage insurance. If a buyer requests an item be returned, they should send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
