Chris was born in Sydney Australia and has spent her most of her life in Queensland. Beautiful Noosa has been her home for many years and provides ample inspiration for her paintings which reflect the natural world around her studio. Her love of nature and extensive world travels are evident in her diversity of genres, mediums and styles.
With professional qualifications in the Arts, Education and Graphic Design and practical experience in these fields, she uses this knowledge to hone her visual perception of the world. Painting is a visual expression of a three dimensional world and as an artist she is constantly looking for new ways to express this. Colourful thick texture created by various mediums and applied with unconventional tools and also painting knives often are a feature of her oil and acrylic paintings. Her watercolour studies are also popular works and she often uses these in the initial planning of her paintings.
Chris loves to experiment and find new exciting visual journeys. Her paintings are in private collections world wide.
