Amber’s colourful abstract paintings are inspired by the beauty of nature. Her unique style is developed and influenced from her love of being outdoors and really appreciating her beautiful surroundings. Looking deeper into the forms and shapes that nature creates. Embracing and enhancing the unique colours. The way light and shadow create a strong connection with the visual form and structure. Engaging with the rawness, light and motion, the falling leaves, the blossoming petals, to create artworks showcasing the best of nature. Taking you to a deeper level and understanding - natures beauty is everywhere!
With a background in Graphic Design, Amber applies her training in colour theory, negative space, contrast, harmony and embracing happy accidents. She works intuitively on canvas, her process is combined with a mixture of instinct and raw emotion. Her talent is combining colours that invoke joyful emotions to the viewer and her spontaneous brushstrokes create paintings that are visually exciting and full of life.
As an artist Amber is fortunate enough to be able to donate paintings to different charities for fundraising. Over the past few years her favourite charities have been the Starlight Children’s Foundation, Epilepsy Australia and artforbales for the Australian Farmers.
